The Vocal Force project of South Normanton and Alfreton, supported by Sing Up, Opus, Derbyshire City and County Music Partnership, and Derbyshire County Council, aims to run a series of twilight vocal training sessions focussing on adults that work with young people. The project will cover singing techniques, repertoire, vocal health, and developing the confidence to use singing as part of their day-to-day role. 

Over the course of two years, we hope to achieve a deep and lasting impact on at least 50 adults in settings with primary age children.  We will target Schools, Sure-Start Centres, Libraries, Creative Partnerships Agencies, Churches, Brownies and Cubs groups etc.  Our hope is to establish good sustainable practice that will be self-supporting and continuing after the initial training programme has been completed.
